*It should be noted that the number of countries is quite disputed and there is no true number of how many countries exist. For example, Scotland is in the United Kingdom, which is a country, but Scotland itself is also considered by many to be a constituent country. The United Nations recognizes 193 member states, and to include the excluded countries from their list, I originally chose the commonly recognized 196 to be my target number.*
